SCENE 1
[ A black curtain lifts up &
Airynn is revealed in a brown
coat & matching top hat.
He casually leans back and
begins to questioned his
worried victim. ]
AIRYNN: Sorry we have to
meet under these devastating
circumstances.
When was the last time
you saw
[ Airynn looks down at his
note pad. ]
AIRYNN: Your precious poosky-
bear.
[ The women burst until tears &
can’t seem to control herself. ]
FEMALE: A few days ago.
[ She coughs out. ]
A masked man came
out from a tree and snatched
her right out of my arms.
[ They hear some laughs. ]
AIRYNN: Don’t worry, I’ll
nab that pesky pooch peddler
In no time.
[ She falls into his arms. ]
SCENE 2:
[ Airynn is sitting backstage
when someone with a mask
approaches him. ]
AIRYNN: How am I doing so far?
MASKEDMAN: Good. As long as
you stick to the plan and let me
slay you in the final scene.
[ Airynn doesn’t answer. ]
MASKEDMAN: Never should
of let a student write the
play. Its total crap.
AIRYNN: I don’t know, man.
What about everyone else
who worked on it.
The director will be pissed.
[ The stranger takes off his
mask & throws it at Airynn’s
feet. ]
MASKEDMAN: Who cares.
Unless you want everyone to find
out that I caught you hooking
up in the boys locker room.
AIRYNN: Fine! See you out
there.
SCENE 3:
[ The curtain comes up again &
Airynn is standing on top of
a building ledge. Suddenly
the
masked man approaches & they
begin to sword fight.
After minutes of back and forth,
Airynn drops his sword &the crowd
gasp as the masked stranger knocks
him over the edge. ]
