Scene One: Mid-afternoon TA.

[  Airynn is walking at a steady pace,

surveying over the front end when

he sees Scott checking for out-of-

dates. ]

"Why are you still here?"

SCOTT: I'm working a double cuz

Jack got fired this morning.

AIRYNN: Damn.  First Lisa leaves.

Now Jack.  What is going on here?

SCOTT: I don't know but since we

still haven't gotten an official pro-

duce manager I'm hoping Mark

would consider me.

[ Airynn makes a "yeah right"

face at Scott. ]

AIRYNN: Good luck with that

dude.  Anyway, are you still

seeing Lisa?

[ Scott goes back to his work.

Trying to ignore his question

but Airynn follows him. ]

AIRYNN: What happened?

SCOTT: Nothing.  I just don't

think it's gonna work out. I

mean, you know how I can

get.

AIRYNN:  You mean annoying,

all over the place. Irrational.

SCOTT: Yeah thanks man.  Lisa is

the complete opposite so may-

be we should just quit while

we're behind.  I can tell I

irritate her anyway.

AIRYNN: Don't be that way

Scott.  Just talk to her about it.  

Well I'd love to stay and chat

but I've been here long enough

as it is.

[ Leaving Scott, he walks through

the back doors.  Taking out his

phone, Airynn scrolls down his

contact list. Smiling sneakily

when he finds Lisa. ]

BRIAN: Hey, why are you creeping

around back here idiot?

[ He starts laughing after almost

hitting Airynn with the door. ]

AIRYNN: Just heading out.  Have fun.

Scene Two: At Amber/Dyminic's.

[ Amber & Ski are sitting down baby

wall decorations in the living room

when Hithe walks in. ]

"Paint's almost dry."

AMBER: Everything out here is done.

SKI: Yeah that didn't take long. Good

thing we decided to starting build-

ing out here.

HITHE: It was great, wasn't it?  And

whose idea was that again?

SKI: Aright we get it.  Back to what I 

was saying.

AMBER: Yeah. I'm worried about it

too.  When I was over the other

day he wouldn't even speak. That's

not like Jai.

SKI: I don't like how he is so

dependant on this one friend.  

He let things go with Trailyn.

Never talks to us or his bro-

thers. He's just absent.

AMBER: Hopefully the time he's

had to think actually did some

good.  

HITHE: If he's not talking to his

family.  Maybe he'll consider

talking to a professional.

SKI: So where did Mairya end-

ing up going?

HITHE: She and her newer boy

are staying with her older boy.

SKI: You mean Caleb?

HITHE: Yeah. He got emancipated.

SKI: Wow.  I wonder how he's

doing now.

[ Ski makes a face like he is off

into space, thinking. 

He returns to Amber & Hithe

staring at him. ]

SKI: Don't give me that look.

Caleb was a.  Nice guy.  

Scene Three: Outside the Simon's.

[ Hidden behind tinted windows, A'Myan 

is parked at the end of the block.  Jai gets

inside. ]

"Jesus. I've been sitting her for 20

minutes bro."

JAI: My bad.  I had to sit through one

more lecture before he let me go.  I

have to wait another week before I

can get my car back.

Go to the park.  It's closer.

[ A'Myan speedily drives off.  

Just a few minutes later. ]

AMYAN: They should of made your

ass get tested.

[ They sit parked in a corner of an

empty lot, in the shade. ]

JAI: They still could. We we're lucky

to get away with that shit.

AMYAN: You were right though.  Your

Dads never came outside to check.  

[ After Jai gets a satisfying hit, he

attempts to hand the pipe over to

his friend. ]

AMYAN: Go ahead.  I've already had

one.

JAI: My job is the only way I got

through these last few weeks.

AMYAN: I bet.  That's all I do is

work.  I have two jobs now. 

JAI: That must cut down on all

your time being a whore.

[ A'myan looks right at Jai. ]

AMYAN: Not if I don't sleep.

Scene Four: Later at Airynn's.

[ Airynn sees his brother Billy & a

stranger sitting down, watching

TV. ]

"Whoa. I didn't know you talked

to girls."

[ Billy rolls his eyes at him. ]

BILLY: So funny.  This is Ariel.

AIRYNN: Nice to meet you but

you two have to go upstairs

soon, I have somone coming

over.

BILLY: That's a first.  Consider-

ing you don't have any friends.

[ He laughs at the insult. ]

Joh can't even be bothered

with you anymore.

AIRYNN: Joh lives in bum fuck

Egypt.  And it's not your

business.

Just be gone in an hour.

[ He leaves them & goes to 

his back room.

Spread out on the bed he 

eagerly awaits her text back. ]


Scene Five: Back at Amber's.

[ After finishing their Chinese 
takeout, Ski & Hithe have left.

Amber is in the living room. 
Finishing up some cleaning
when Dyminic walks in. ]

DYMINIC: Can't believe that room
was empty this morning.  You three
did a great job.
AMBER: Thanks babe.  It seems like
just yesterday I was finding out I
was pregnant.

[ Dyminic leans over & kisses her
on the cheek. ]

AMBER: How was work?

DYMINIC: I had a pretty stress less
day actually.
Have you thought anymore about
what we talked about last night?
AMBER: I understand you think I
should take some extra time off
but I really believe I'll be fine.

[ Dyminic doesn't speak but Amber
can tell that her words have made
him tense. ]

DYMINIC: You should go with what
is recommended but at any rate
I'm just excited to get through
these last few weeks.
AMBER: Do you think we're ready?

DYMINIC: Of course.  You're going to
make the best mom this world has
ever seen.


Scene Six: Final Scene.

"I'm here."

[ After receiving Lisa's text, Airynn
waits alone in the room for her
to walk through the front door.

She joins him on the couch. ]

LISA: Not that it's not nice to
see you, but you mind finally
telling me what this is about?

AIRYNN: I wanted to talk to you
on behalf of Scott.  He's not 
exactly the smoothest guy
when it comes to dating.

Are you really into him?
I mean, all of him.
LISA: You're asking if I can
handle his personality?

If I couldn't, do you think
I would've started dating
him in the first place.

[ Airynn nods his head, fee-
ling a little foolish. ]

LISA: I worked with Scott
9 months.  I know him just
as well as you do.

[ Not realizing that Airynn has
moved his arm closer to her's.

Before he can connect, Airynn
shakes a vision of Scott
looking disappointed. ]

[ Placing his hand on Lisa
shoulder instead, Airynn clears
his throat. ]

AIRYNN: You should go.  And
stop by Scott's if you can.  

He'd really appreciate it.

[ He stands up, leaving her

alone in his living room. ]

She's Wild: Part Two

SCENE ONE :

A week later, Ashbury Park.

[ Charles is sitting quietly by the

lake.  He skids a rock perfectly

across the water as Ricky makes

a late arrival. ]

"I was getting worried.  Why

didn't you answer any of my

calls?"

RICKY: Sorry.  I posted how

I was doing afterwards.  I just

didn't feel like being seen.

CHARLES: Yeah I know.  There

was an adjusting period.  I

of all people can understand

one of those.

[ The sorrow switches toward

him as he gets quiet.  Ricky

notices Charles look of dismay. ]

RICKY: What have you been

doing with your life?

CHARLES: Not really working.

I've been living off savings

trying to figure out what I'm

really want.

RICKY: And how is Sandie?

CHARLES: Oh she's fine.  I'm using

this time to explore my options.

Get out of my static routine.

RICKY: Sounds like fun.  Inspiring

even.  I have to make a call.

[ She walks off excited, leaving

Charles behind. ]

SCENE TWO :

Afternoon, at Weis & Stuu's.

[ Stuu is sitting near baby Mila

while some familiar visitors are

seated with Weis. ]

MARK: I know.  Who is this

strange man looking at me?

[ Mila smiles at him through

her snack of raw veggies. ]

STUU: Of course she stops acting

up as soon as you come to get

her.

SKI: It's me.  I have that natural

connection with children.

[ Weis starts to laugh a little. ]

SKI: Didn't mean it like that.

WEIS: I'm just messing.  Anyway

we would have let you sit sooner

but Stuu was concerned about her

being around too many people.

Too soon, you know.

MARK: That's good thinking.  We

understood.

[ Later on, Stuu & Weis are alone

in the living room. ]

"As smooth as you tried to be

I know there's something hiding

underneath the blanket."

WEIS: I finally found a way for

us to get what we both want.

[ Weis stands up, whisking away the

cover and reveals the real-to-life

animal costumes. ]

SCENE THREE :

[ After the meet up, Ricky arrives

back home surprised to see her

Dad's vehicle sitting in the drive. 

Later, they chat inside. ]

"Why are you avoiding us?"

RICKY: I'm not at all.  Just been
busy.

DAD: With what? I knew you
we're going to regret this.
RICKY: I never said that. In fact,
I'm very happy with the results.
Just trying to get use to all the
changes.

[ Her Dad doesn't speak. ]

DAD: Your mother is worried.
RICKY: Yeah well she doesn't
need to be.  No one does.

[ After he leaves, Ricky is on the
phone with her TA assistant. ]

SCENE FOUR :

"You be the cheetah.  I'll be the
antelope."

[ Weis & Stuu are sitting on the
couch in their costumes. ]

"Now what?"

WEIS: Well my costume has a 
hole in the back.  And yours
has a piece sticking out in
front.

[ Weis smirks at Stuu as he
figures it out.

They stand up and Weis positions
himself in front of Stuu.  Now
connected through fabric,
they proceed in exploring
this fake penetration. ]

WEIS: How is this?  Too weird?
STUU: No.  Keep going.

[ Weis continues to run up against
his fabric. ]

"Wanna try this for real?"


SCENE FIVE :

[ Outside of Ricky's. ]

RICKY: Thanks for leaving your
buddies to come by.

MAXX: No problem.  I see way
too much of them anyway.

So what's up?
RICKY: My Dad showed up here
earlier.
MAXX: What did he say?
RICKY: Nothing bad.  I could
just tell he was frustrated
by me.  

MAXX: Hey, you need to live
for you.  Not anyone else.
The main thing is you can
finally feel comfortable
in yourself. 
RICKY: You're right.

[ Before Maxx can look, Ricky
has ran a little ways down the
street.  She stops & looks back.

Maxx takes the cue and hurries
to catch up with her. ]

[ They stand face to face.  Ricky
waste no time giving him a quick
kiss & then looks away. ]


SCENE SIX :

[ Back with the "wildlife". ]

"Are you serious?"

STUU: Sorry I don't know what
came over me.  
WEIS: It's normal to get excited.
I just didn't think you had any
desires to go there.

STUU: I haven't.  I mean, I
don't except for lately.  I
don't want to regret any-
thing with you.  
WEIS: I know what you mean.

Let's get this shit off and
watch some movies.

[ Weis gets up to look for the
remote while Stuu opens a
letter he had laying on the
table. ]

"Oh no!"

WEIS: What's wrong?


STUU: Mila's mom. She died.

SCENE ONE:
Early AM, still dark out.

[ Weis is reclining on the couch with
baby Mila snuggled on top of him. 

Stuu enters the room & sits down, 
putting on his shoes. ]

"If you need to.  Tie will be
up in the afternoon."

WEIS: Ah we'll be fine.  I've
been here the whole week, I
think I've pretty much gotten
the hang of it all.
STUU: I know.  And I trust you.

WEIS: Like I said, she'll be
calling me 'Da da' in no time.

[ Stuu smiles at the thought. ]

WEIS: I can't help but to wonder
about her mom.  I mean, why
go through this extensive donor
process just to dissapear after
the birth.
STUU: I know.  It doesn't make
much sense.

[ He starts to walk away. ]

WEIS: Probably because it's
not true.  They're clearly hid-
ing something.
STUU: Even if you're right. Does
it really matter that much?

WEIS: Maybe not to you.  

[ Weis looks down as Mila starts
to wake up.  Stuu comes over.

Sighing heavily, he kisses them
both then leaves. ]


SCENE TWO:
Meanwhile, inside TA.

[ Back in the Meat department
Ricky is looking up at the sche-
dule as her assistant Maxx 
walks up from behind. ]

"Excuse me."

[ Ricky turns around, rolling her
eyes at Maxx's smirking face. ]

RICKY: I know you viewed that
pic I sent you.  Why are you act-
ing so surprised?

[ Maxx looks down, feeling caught. ]

MAXX: I don't know.  It's different to
to see you in person.  So what should
I call you now?

[ Ricky looks over, confused. ]

RICKY: My name genius.  

[ She finally smiles.  Maxx gets a
 glimpse of a familiar expression
& begins to relax. ]

MAXX: So we're close enough for
me to ask.  I think.  Is it gone?
RICKY: Hey.  I'm still your mana-
ger and we're still at our job.

Just remember that.

[ Ricky shakes her head at him
& exits toward the counter. ]


SCENE THREE:
Garage, outside Stuu's.

[ Weis leans the seat back, placing a
baby monitor down near him.  He takes
out a newly wrapped grape swisher &
puffs away at the added contents. 

A few minutes later he gets out
walking toward a package that's
hidden by the door. ]

"They're here."

[ Later inside, he is texting night
manager Ski. ]

WEIS: Dude.  I need a favor.
SKI: It's only been one week and
you're already running for the hills.
WEIS: LOL.  Actually the baby loves
me.  It's Stuu who has the problems
with her.  
SKI: Well I'm hoping moving him to
days would help you guys out. 
WEIS: Yeah.  Except now we hardly
see each other.  

SKI: Well like I told you both.  You
need your time.  I can watch her
whenever.
WEIS: Really thanks.  How about 
tonight?


SCENE FOUR: 

[ Behind the counter, Ricky notices
a male customer hovering over the
glass.

When Ricky comes close, the stran-
ger changes his view. ]

RICKY: Can I help you find some-
thing?

[ Ricky smiles meeting the young
man's glance for the first time.

The recieved look back was less
than warm. ]

"What did you do to your face?"

[ Maxx comes out, just in time
to hear.  He starts toward the
customer with Ricky close behind
but Scott is already there. ]

SCOTT: If you really want to know.

[ Scott faces him. ]

SCOTT: Try asking in a respectful
 way.
MAXX: Or he could just fuck off
out of here and mind his
own damn business.

"Is there a problem here?"

[ They turn around to see Mark
staring at them.  The stranger
runs out of the store while Scott,
Maxx, & Ricky return to work. ] 


SCENE FIVE:
Between cities, Zain & Joh's.

[ Joh, Zain, Tiesun, & Larrie
are sitting in the living room
when Weis enters.

Joh offers him a beer but he
declines. ]

"So how's parenthood?"

WEIS: I hate to say it but I feel
like I need a break already.
ZAIN: I thought everything
was chill with you and Mila.
WEIS: It is.  But Stuu gets so
worked up over every little
thing.  And he won't let any
else watch her so we can
have a night out.
TIESUN: I'm sure that will 
change with time.  

LARRIE: Yeah.  That's normal
for new parents.  You just have
to wait it out.

[ Later Joh & Weis are alone in
the basement. ]

"Did you show him the costumes?"

WEIS: Not yet.  I figured with him
being an animal lover and the fact
that it doesn't involve our bodies
persay.  He might consider.
JOH: The battles of being intimate
with an asexual. Next on Today.
WEIS: You're dumb.  Anyway I just
have to get Stuu alone one night
and convince him.

JOH: Well good luck with that.


SCENE SIX:
End of shift, TA.

[ Ricky is walking in the parking lot.
She can tell Maxx is behind so
she picks up the pace a little. ]

"Why are you folllowing me?"

[ Ricky states, without turning 
around. ]

MAXX: You made it through day
one,  Just thought you might
want to.

[ He stops when Ricky turns
around, connecting their eyes. ]

RICKY: What?  You just don't
understand at all.  Do you?
MAXX: I'm here.  Trying.

RICKY: There will be no shoot.
No name change and no cele-
bration.  Alright.

I'm the same me inside that
I've always been.  I don't
want to be treated any
differently.

MAXX: Okay i got it.  I'll
see you tomorrow then.

[ Ricky watches as Maxx runs
back inside. ]
