SCENE 1: Parking lot, near MSCC.

[ Stuu shuts his car door & starts

walking, seeing Leevigh waiting

for him on the porch. ]

“Out of all the brothers, we would

get stuck doing this ridiculous

promotional video together.”

LEEVIGH: I know, so let’s just

get it over with. 

[ Leevigh opens the frat house

door & Stuu follows him inside. ]

STUU: So…how are your roomates

doing?

[ He walks, waiting for a response. ]

LEEVIGH: Weis is never home.

Joh’s been pretty busy too lately.

STUU: Yeah, I heard.  He hasn’t been

the same since that near sexual

experience. 

LEEVIGH: Hey!  Joh getting his hump

[ He tries to hold his face but

can’t help but start laughing. ]

STUU: Anyway, wasn’t a third party

suppose to be involved here?

LEEVIGH: Yes, hopefully it’s a chick

SCENE 2: Afternoon, at TA Salon.

[ Karie finishes with a client &

walks back to Ace’s office. ]

ACE: Hey babe, what’s going on?

[ He stretches out in his chair,

smiling at Karie.  Suddenly he

looses grip of the desk, falling

down with the chair. 

KARIE: Are you okay?

[ Ace gets up quickly. ]

ACE: I’m fine.  Good thing Hithe

insisted on the rug in here.

Where is he by the way?

KARIE: Oh his lunch break.

ACE: That’s works perfectly.

Why don’t you come over

here and make yourself more

comfortable? Maybe, straddle

my desk calendar a little.

[ He looks, waiting… ]

KARIE:  Very funny.

There’s people waiting.

[ Ace ‘boos’ Karie on her way out

the door & she turns around

flipping him off jokingly. ]

SCENE 3: Meanwhile, at the Frat house.

“I’m Tiesun.  So, which one

of you boys will be playing

my opposite?”

LEEVIGH: He is.  Could I hate you

anymore?

[ He smirks, walking past Stuu &

gets comfortable behind the

video camera. ]

[ Tiesun looks Stuu up & down

before speaking. ]

TIESUN: I hope you’re a fast

learner.  Can you even dance?

[ Stuu makes his best attempt,

stepping back & forth while

moving his hands wildly in

the air. ]

TIESUN: No!  This isn’t some

copy-cat, free-for-all, bullshit.

Your brothers are looking

for an epic amount of views

[ She eyes Stuu hard, then

walks away. ]

SCENE 4: Up front, TA Salon. 

[ Ace returns from lunch & runs

into one of the new stylist.  ]

“Hey, it’s Sascha.  Right?”

ACE: Sorry, I’m still learning

everyone’s name.

SASCHA: You’re fine.

ACE: Nice to meet you.  If

you ever need anything, just

ask me or Hithe.

My door is always open.

SASCHA: Thank you.

[ Ace heads for his office while

Sascha goes toward the break

room. ]

[ Hearing a harsh male voice

Inside, she stops & listens. ]

“What do you mean their

stopping the money?

I didn’t make it up. They were

negligent with my son.  He

would’ve lived.

Okay, I’ll be there. We have

to fix this.“

[ Suddenly the door opens &

Hithe appears, faintly smiling

at Sascha he walks away. ]

SCENE 5: Back at the Frat house.

[ Tiesun is walking Stuu through

the dance movies, Leevigh is

watching. ]

TIESUN: Finally!  See I told ya

I can teach anyone.

Since we’re dancing together,

It would look better if you

were…shirtless.

[ She gets closer to him. ]

STUU: Tempting but I’m

not trying to send out

that type of a message. 

TIESUN: What type?

[ He backs up a little. ]

STUU: A sexual one.

TIESUN: Relax, alright.

It’s not like that.

[ Stuu tries to speak but Tiesun already has

her finger up to his lips.  Soon he is lifting

up his arms, & letting her remove his shirt. ] 

[ An hour later, everyone is gone except

for Leevigh who is putting up equipment. ]

“Great idea.  This should get Stuu tossed

out for sure.”

SCENE 6: In Ace’s office.

[ Hithe enters. ]

HITHE: I’m gonna head out.

See ya tomorrow?

[ Ace stands up so there face

to face. ]

ACE: I’m gonna ask you one

time. And this is the last time

Hithe.

Where the hell did you get

the money to furnish the

Salon?

HITHE: Alright, alright.

It came from a settlement.

ACE: Settled from what?

HITHE: The hospital was

paying me for their part

in my son’s death. 

But their refusing to now.

ACE: So that makes this

okay? You fabricated a

story out of anger and I

trusted you.

HITHE: I’m sorry I didn’t

tell you, but…

ACE: But nothing I

don't even know what

SCENE 1: Outside of class, at MSCC.

[ Marisa is standing in a corner near

her classroom. ]

“Hey, you hiding from someone?”

[ Startled, she turns around. ]

MARISA: Oh, hey. What would give

you that idea?

[ She laughs nervously and follows

her friend into class. ]

LORI: You’ve been acting strange

for the past two weeks. What’s

going on?

MARISA: Its nothing.  Have you

seen Airynn around since classes

started?

LORI: No, I haven’t.  Don’t tell me

you like him again.

MARISA: Of course not.  I was just

wondering. 

[ Lori gives her a look and sits down

at the table.  Marisa walks away,

looking down at her phone. ]

“Incoming Text: Airynn”

“Hey, sorry I haven’t gotten ahold of

you in a while.  Something came up

that night and I couldn’t make it to

the park.  We should talk. I’ll meet

you after class.”

[ Marisa sits down with a worried look on her face. ]

LORI: I knew something was wrong. That was

him harassing you, wasn’t it?

MARISA: Listen, Airynn’s not the problem.

I am.  And I have to leave.

[ She grabs her bag and exits. ]

SCENE 2: In the Salon office.

“Morning.  I’m ready to hear all

your fabulous ideas now.”

[ Karie smiles, walking up to Hithe. ]

HITHE: Oh hey. How are the appointments

looking for today?

KARIE: Better, I guess.  We’re set until

late afternoon.

HITHE: That’s good.  I have a plan for the

rest of the day too.

[ Hithe stands and begins walking around the room. ]

HITHE: I’m going out there to speak

with the entering customers.

KARIE: Out where? There’s no one around.

HITHE: Not over here.  In front of TA.

[ He opens the door to the office and steps out. ]

KARIE: Yeah. Well, don’t let Mark find out.

HITHE: Not a problem.  I rule at being sneaky. 

[ Outside of TA, Hithe sees a familiar face

coming toward him. ]

“Mrs. Monroe, you’re looking exquisite

today.  Is that a new dress?”

MRS. MONROE: Why yes it is.

Thank you, Hithe.

HITHE:  You’re very welcome.

[ He winks at her and comes closer. ]

 HITHE: You know what would go well

with that?  A nice trip into our salon.

Some new hair.   A romantic night.

 Surprise your husband, maybe? 

SCENE 3: At Marisa’s apartment.

[ Marisa comes in, shutting the door

and drops her stuff on the ground. ]

“I am truly loosing it!”

[ Picking up her phone she calls the

first person who comes to mind. ]

MARISA: Hey, what are you doing

tonight?

Really, that sounds interesting.

I’m serious.  You dress up for those

right?  I’ll get ready and meet you

around 7:30.

Cool.  See ya soon.

SCENE 4:  Hithe enters the Salon.

KARIE: Well, damn.  You have fun bothering

people all day?

HITHE: Bother my ass.  I got the salon

a whole slew of new clients.

Without even leaving the parking lot.  I’d

say I did an exceptional job. 

[ Turned to Karie, he doesn’t see

Mark walk in behind him. ]

KARIE: Someone came to congratulate you.

[ Hithe turns around fast. ]

MARK: Yeah.  Can I speak to you outside?

SCENE 5: Outside in a quiet parking lot.

[ Marisa gets out of her car in a long,

white dress and waits beside it.  Looking

at her phone, she sees the time change

to 7:30. ]

[ 5 minutes later, a truck pulls up close

and a familiar person walks toward

her. ]

MARISA: Thanks for meeting me.

JOH: No problem.  I’m surprised you

wanted to come out here.

I still remember you and Airynn’s

reaction when you first found out

I was a Witness. 

MARISA: Yeah, sorry about that.

The last thing I wanted was

to make you uncomfortable. 

Or rub anything in.

JOH: I know that and Airynn

was just being himself.

MARISA: You mean, an ass?

[ He laughs and she looks away. ]

MARISA: Sorry. Bad word choice.

JOH: It’s fine. I’m not your dad.

So, why sit through a meeting?

[ She stands up and faces him. ]

MARISA: I’m not sure.  I guess I’ve

just been feeling lost lately.  And I

thought that maybe this could be

what I need. 

JOH: Sure, that makes sense. But

what about this?

[ Joh picks Marisa up and sits her down

on the back on his truck.  Not giving her

a chance to speak, he kisses her until

she soon forgets what she was saying. ]

SCENE 6: In between TA and the Salon.

HITHE: First off, have you taken your meds

today?

MARK: Good one, Hithe.  But as much as

I’d like it to be, this isn’t a reaming.  I actually

wanted to tell you tomorrow will be the last

time we need you to manage the late

afternoon. 

HITHE: Thank god.

[ Hithe looks up to Mark staring at him. ]

HITHE: I mean, it was hard balancing both

places.  You know?

MARK: I know you would rather help with

the Salon.  No hard feelings.  By the looks

of things, Ace could use all the help he

can get. 

HITHE:  No.  The kid was just exhausted.  He’ll

be in tip top shape to return tomorrow. 

[ Marks smirks before walking away. ]

MARK: Whatever you say, man. 

[ He leaves and Karie comes outside. ]

HITHE: He’s so damn cocky.

KARIE: Who, Mark?

HITHE: Yeah, it’s like he has no

trust in me or Ace.  His supposed

best friend.

KARIE:  He’s the store.  We’re the Salon.

Why does his opinion matter?

HITHE: It just bothers me.  I’m gonna

show him though.  And anyone else

who dare doubted us. 

[ He walks away, leaving Karie
in shock. ]

pledges are sitting at
a table ]

[ walks up ] ‘Let me
start by introducing
myself. . .I’m Mike,
and I’ll be guiding

of questions just so
we can get to know
each other better,

[ They all four nod ]

‘Who would you say
is the most important

MAC: My girlfriend

yourself in five years?’

LEEVIGH: In five years,
I hope to be using
my degree at a
computer software

‘What is your greatest
fear?’

STUU: I’ve always
had a problem with

‘How do you think
being a fraternity
brother will help
you as a person?’

JOH: Well, um
Up until a few
months ago I was

structured life with
my parents
And I hope that

will help me relax
and not be so
serious all the time


[ Minutes later, Joh gets
his stuff and exits
the Fraternity house/
Outside he starts walking
toward his dorm. . . ]

[ He turns around

AIRYNN: What’s up?

JOH: You serious?

[ Outside after the
meeting Joh is sitting
on the steps. . . ]

‘Yeah, I’d like

[ Turns around ]

JOH: What did
you say?
STUU: Uh, nothing

[ He hurries off ]

LEEVIGH: Ready

[ Stands up and
they start to walk ]

JOH: Yeah, why?

from his jacket ]

[ Leaning up against the wall, Airynn waits. . .

[ 'Nside the club/Amber, Hithe, + Ski sit @a table ]

SKI: OK, why am I here again?

[ sighs ] AMBER: I told you already. . .

We are here to get our minds off. . .things

I'm gonna get some drinks [ she leaves ]

So, have you and Kristyn talked about

what your gonna do when the baby comes?

HITHE: We're not doing anything. . .

She wants to give it up for adoption

I thought it was gonna be you, her, and the baby

[ comes up behind them ] AMBER: You called?

[ Airynn's sitting in back of class, & GURL1 comes up. ]

GURL1: Earth to Airynn!

AIRYNN: Oh hey, sorie. . .

GURL1: So, where we going tonight?

AIRYNN: Um, wherever you want [ smiles ]

GURL1: Well, what kind of place would

a guy like you take me?

AIRYNN: Why don't we go see a movie?

GURL1: OK, great!

AIRYNN: Well, class is about to start…

GURL1: Yeah, I'll talk to you later

[ She looks back excited before sitting down. ]

[ Back at the club, they're watching the dance floor. ]

AMBER: Come on, let's dance!

HITHE: I don't even think I can move

[ laughs ] SKI: Well, yeah…

This is what, your 10th drink?

HITHE: Something like that…

Look at that girl over there!

SKI: What? Who?

AMBER: Looks like someone's had

[ The girl stops & starts coming toward them. ]

'Hey, it's Amber…right?'

[ She comes over & sits down. ]

JESZYCA: What are your names again?

Sorry, I've been drinking all night

AMBER: That's Hithe [ she points to him ]

and don't worry so has he…

SKI: I'm Ski, I work nights with you

JESZYCA: OK, yeah!

So, I've never seen you three

in here before

AMBER: Yeah, and you might not again…

These two won't even get up off their asses

and dance

JESZYCA: Oh, that's lame!

Who needs men though. . .I'll dance with you

AMBER: What?

JESZYCA: Here. . . [ hands her a shot ]

Take this [ she grabs one too ]

AMBER: OK

[ They both drink it & put their glasses down/

Then Jeszyca grabs Amber's hand. ]

JESZYCA: You wanted to dance, right?

[ stops for a second ] AMBER: Sure, why not. . .

[ Jeszyca leads Amber out into the middle of the floor/

In they start dancing…while people clear out & watch. ]

SKI: Wow, I've never seen Amber like that before

HITHE: Yeah, I know. . .

SKI: Except for with one other person. . . [ looks at him ]

HITHE: What you mean?

Wait, who is that other girl again?

[ laughs ] SKI: Nevermind Hithe

[ It's night, Airynn's driving around

& parks in front of a house. ]

[ on the phone ] AIRYNN: Hey Marisa, what's up?

MARISSA: Nothing

AIRYNN: What's wrong? You sound upset. . .

MARISA: I'm fine, just had some plans tonight

that didn't go through

AIRYNN: With Joh?

MARISA: Yeah

AIRYNN: I'm sorry. . .

Yeah, I was suppose to have a date too

but she canceled on me

MARISA: Oh, I'm sorry too then

AIRYNN: It's alright. . .

Well, since we both have nothing to do

You wanna hang out?

MARISA: I don't know

I don't really feel like going out

AIRYNN: Well, I could come over

and we could just talk or whatever

MARISA: You know what, sure. . .

I was just about to watch a movie

AIRYNN: Cool, I'll be over soon!

MARISA: Wait, don't you wanna know

where I live. . .

[ Jeszyca & Amber are still dancing. . . ]

AMBER: Sorry for telling you all that. . .

I really don't know you very well

JESZYCA: It's alright

I can't believe he did that to you and then left

AMBER: Yeah, it's OK though

JESZYCA: No, it's not [ she moves closer ]

If I ever met that guy…I'd fucked him up myself!

[ laughs ] AMBER: Thanks

JESZYCA: What? I'm serious. . .

AMBER: Well, it's almost three

JESZYCA: Wow, already…

AMBER: Yeah, how you getting home?

JESZYCA: I don't know yet

AMBER: Well, I can drive you. . .

Let me just tell the boys, bye

JESZYCA: OK

[ Amber leaves, & Jeszyca looks away smiling. . . ]

[ Airynn's still parked out in his car, calling someone ]

GURL1: Hey! I'm all ready to go. . .

You on your way?

AIRYNN: Uh, yeah…

Something came up and I can't go tonight

GURL1: What?

AIRYNN: Yeah, I'm sorry

GURL1: You're sorry?

I just spent three hours getting ready

AIRYNN: I feel really bad but my little brother is

sick and I told my mom I'd stay home with him

GURL1: Are you lying to me, Airynn?

AIRYNN: No, of course not!

I wanted to take you out

GURL1: OK, we'll I hope he feels better

Call me tomorrow

AIRYNN: Thanks, I will [ hangs up ]

[ He gets out the car & walks up to the house. ]

[ opens the door ] MARISA: Hey

AIRYNN: Hey, ready to watch the movie?

[ The next morning everyone is sleeping. . .

Ski wakes up next to Hithe/ Jeszyca's in Amber's bed

alone/ & Airynn's sleeping next to Marisa on the couch. ]
