Truth & Honor ( Part One )

SCENE 1:

Same night, The Aisles.

[ Airynn is talking to Stuu in a

corner with Zain close behind. ]

AIRYNN: You have no clue how

many hours of pointless and

time sucking rituals I've been

dragged through.

STUU: Then you should've came

back.  I bet your little brother

is panicked by now.

AIRYNN: Yeah well he's the only

one who cared.  No one around

here gave a shit.

[ He nods in Zain's direction. ]

STUU: That's not true. Me and

Tie talked about you daily.  Ski

did too.  You're the one who

turned off your phone.  Did

they make you do that to stay?

AIRYNN: No, I wanted to.  Minus their 

strict hold on the bible they we're

really nice people.  I never wanted

for anything.  Unlike at home.

STUU: Okay, then why are you 

here?

AIRYNN: Come out to my car, I

need to show you something.

[ In the parking lot, Stuu joins

Airynn behind his vehicle.

Slowly he starts to open the

trunk & then pulls up a dark

covering.  

Looking down, Stuu jumps back

as a young man is revealed

tied with his hands and feet.

Taped on his mouth. ]

SCENE 2:

Back at the school yard.

[ The young watcher moves, right as

the door of the building swings

open.  Caleb run outs.  Looking

down & figetting with his belt

buckle. ]

MAIRYA: What the hell is going on?

CALEB: We we're just coming to an

understanding in there.  It's cool now.

[ He signals his friend & they quickly

leave the area.  Little H comes

out now, staying in the doorway. ]

MAIRYA: Okay? You could've done

that here.

[ H walks over to her & Trailyn. ]

LITTLE H: Sorry I didn't respond.

[ He keeps his glance at the ground. ]

LITTLE H: He just wanted to make

sure I wouldn't get into the

way of you two dating.

[ They stare at him. ]

LITTLE H: Aren't we going

toward home?

[ H walks a little faster and the

two girls start to follow. ]

SCENE 3:

Outside The Aisles.

"Larrie was right.  You are out

of your mind."

[ Stuu starts to walk away but

Airynn catches up, guiding him

back toward the car. ]

STUU: Explain to me how this

isn't kidnapping.  

AIRYNN: Listen, I'm trying to save

him.  All of them.  

STUU: From what? Too much praising

of God.  

AIRYNN: No it's a lot more serious.

Look at this.

[ He shows Stuu an online article

off a cell phone. ]

STUU: Human sacrificing?  Never

heard of someone actually doing

that.  Very far fetched.

AIRYNN: Brian considers himself

a leader and the PC better than

any organized religion.  He's

always trying to up his spritual

game.  It makes sense.

Plus this is his phone.  

STUU:  Okay but how do you know

they actually would try to pull

something like this off?

AIRYNN: Here.  It's the last post

off Brian's reflection blog

before I took him.  

"I feel the light brighter today as

if someone we're telling me to

trust what I know inside.  PC

is truth and soon we (I) will

make our mark."

[ Airynn looks up as Stuu's expression

turns from cynical to scared. ]

SCENE 4:

At Hithe's Apartment.

[ Little H steps out of the bathroom

after a shower.  Seeing Hithe at

the kitchen table, he walks right

up & gives him a short hug. ]

HITHE: Hey buddy.  Something up?

LITTLE H: No.  That was okay, right?

HITHE: Of course it is.

LITTLE H: Alright.  It just we weren't

allowed to touch anyone at the

home. 

HITHE: I understand.  How was school?

LITTLE H:  Good.  I'm gonna take a

nap before dinner.  

[ He leaves the room.  Meanwhile,

inside TA Salon. ]

SASCHA: I'm guessing her & Renzo

worked out their differences.

[ She points at Sunshine who is

staring out the window. ]

JESZYCA: Something like that.

SASCHA: Either way it's good for

you.  Right?

JESZYCA: Except.

[ She leans over and whispers. ]

JESZYCA: He got out today and I'm

worried about Sunshine.

SASCHA: After her friend's defense

and everything?

JESZYCA: Yup, it wasn't enough.

[ Sunshine comes over. ]

SUNSHINE: I know what you're

talking about.  Even though we

didn't get what we wanted I've

put that aside. It's cool really.

He's on his way now to talk.

SCENE 5:

Back outside The Aisles.

[ Tiesun is walking toward the

car while Bryan is sitting in

the back, still tied & Airynn

is feeding him grapes. ]

TIESUN: Stuu is freaking out

inside so I thought I come

out here and check on you.

Turns out things are weirder

than I ever thought.

AIRYNN: I can't let him go.  I

have a feeling something bad

is gonna happen as soon as

I do.

What is your opinion? You've

been around.

TIESUN: What, the streets?

[ She starts to laugh & Airynn

comes over facing her direction. ]

TIESUN: You are not the cops

or an institution so you should

probably untie him at least.

Just keep a close eye and 

make sure he's not doing

anything dangerous.  

AIRYNN: You're right.  I mean,

he isn't a hostage.

[ Airynn goes to untie Brian

but he is no where in sight. 

Tiesun walks over to the

open passenger door. ]

TIESUN: Should've checked your

car first amatuer.

[ She pulls out a blade that was

lying on the seat. ]

SCENE 6:

Hithe's, Little H's room. 

[ H is laying in his bed under

the covers when he recieves

a text. ]

BILLY: Sorry it took so long.

What's up?

LITTLE H: Remember when

you told me about what really

happened with you and that

videographer last summer?

BILLY: Yeah, well I couldn't

tell Chais.   He was already

starting to wonder about me.

LITTLE H: I know well something

bad happened at school today

with me and this boy Caleb.

BILLY: What was it?

LITTLE H: If I tell, you better

keep your mouth shut.  I don't

want Mairya or Dad or Ski

to know about this.

BILLY: It's cool, I wont tell them.

I more concerned about you man.

LITTLE H: Good.  I'll see you at

Ski's tommorow.  Tell you then.

Later and thanks.

BILLY: Alright later.

SCENE 7:

Outside the Salon.

[ Sunshine gets into a sportsy car

with tinted windows and shuts the

door. ]

"After trying to get me framed, I 

didn't expect to be meeting up

this way."

SUNSHINE: Yeah well, I'm a different

person now from the one you

trapped and brought here.

There's a reason why I didn't

join Madeline in court.  

GERARD: Oh yeah, what is that?

SUNSHINE: You can't play dumb

with me.  I know what you we're

planning when you got here.

Not sure what happened to

the others but they are around

here somewhere, I bet.

GERARD: Always knew you were

smart.  What an idiot I'd be, if

I left them to be found.

SUNSHINE: Right so here's the

deal.  When you start back again,

I want in.

GERARD: Why should I?

SUNSHINE: Otherwise I'll give the

cops this.

[ She pulls out her phone, stopping

the voice recording app. ]

SUNSHINE: If you touch me, I'll scream.

[ She quickly flees the car as it speeds

out of the parking lot. ]

T H E       E N D.

SCENE 7: 

Outside the Salon.

[ Sunshine gets into a sportsy car

with tinted windows and shuts the

door. ]

"After trying to get me framed, I

SUNSHINE: Yeah well, I'm a different

trapped and brought here.

There's a reason why I didn't

join Madeline in court.  

GERARD: Oh yeah, what is that?

SUNSHINE: You can't play dumb

planning when you got here.

And I'm putting a stop to this

right now.

[ Before he can flinch, Sunshine

grabs a heavy object out of her

purse and slams Gerard in the

back of the head.

Trading sides, she pushes him

over and he slumps into the

seat. ]

"We're going for a ride."

" Mister What-Not "

SCENE 1

Morning, at TA Salon.

[ Karie is finishing up Larrie’s

cut. ]

“Yeah, thankfully I didn’t have

to bail Jess out of jail the

other night.  She just

got a trespassing ticket.”

KARIE: Wow.  Can’t say she

doesn’t have balls.  Don’t

know what I’ve would

have done if people we’re

stealing my money.   

[ She removes his cover, &

they walk toward the back

for a shampoo.  Karie notices

Sascha doing some cleaning. ]

SASCHA: Seems like Ace has been

gone all day.  Is something

wrong?

KARIE: He’s here.  Just locked in his

office.

SASCHA: That’s weird.  Normally he’s

at the desk or talking to clients. 

[ Larrie is sitting, listening. . . ]

[ After paying at the counter with

Hithe, Larrie goes to the back to

visit his cousin.

Seeing the door is propped, he

knocks on it but instead it comes

flying open.  Ace is gone and

a note is left on his desk.

‘Going home.  Love, Ace’

SCENE 2

Meanwhile, inside TA store.

[ Hahn is talking to Syria in front

of her lane. ]

HAHN: Yeah, you should check

out that movie soon.

Twists around every

corner.  Wicked stuff. 

SYRIA: Thanks, I will.

[ She gives him a friendly smile

before returning to work. ]

[ Hahn checks the time on his

watch & goes outside to wait

on a new arrival.

In the middle lot, Amber &

Ski are sitting & eating lunch. ]

AMBER: We should do this

more often.  Too bad Hithe

couldn’t join.

SKI: I know.  Last night was

crazy!  Imagine my short ass

trying to peel Mark off of

Chais.  He was trying to old

school whip him, belt to skin.

  

AMBER: So, he was the thief.

SKI: Yup, him and his best friend.

I’m like, Mark you can’t do that

anymore.

Then I grounded Chais.

SCENE 3:

Back at the Salon.

[ Karie is reading her text &

and she starts to think, when

Sascha comes in. ]

SASCHA: And now we’re slow.

You're in a good mood. What

changed?

KARIE: I think I know why Ace

has been so hush hush lately.

He’s nervous about asking me

to marry him. 

I mean, we’ve been going out

for nine months.  

We've met each other's

 families already. 

Even talk about kids.  

SASCHA: But what if your wrong

and it’s something else?

KARIE: Like what?

SASCHA: I don’t know but I’m

sure there’s a reason he hasn’t

spilled.

KARIE: Whatever, it is.  I’ll find

out tonight. 

SCENE 4:

[ Hahn sees new bagger Jenni

come in & he immediately

approaches her. ]

“Hahn, right?”

HAHN: That’s me.  Welcome to TA.

JENNI: Thanks.

[ They start walking & he gives her

a tour of the store. ]

HAHN: I actually started as a bagger.

So did our night manager, Ski.

JENNI: That’s cool.  This is my first

job ever.  I’m kind of nervous.

HAHN:  It was mine too.  So I understand.

But don’t worry.  It’s like an extended

family around here.

This is Kristyn, our floral manger.

JENNI: Hi, I’m Jenni.  

[ Kristyn greets her & Hahn bends

down to tell her something.  ]

KRISTYN: Sure, no problem.

HAHN: Thanks.  See ya.

Shall we continue?

[ Hahn & Jenni walk on. ]

SCENE 5:

At Ace & Karie’s. . .

[ Karie enters the empty rooms,

one by one and searching for

a hidden box.

Now in their bedroom, still with

nothing.  Karie sits down, attempting

to tap into her boyfriend’s smarts. ]

“Where could it be?

The recliner!”

[ Karie is sifting through the storage

expecting to find a jewelry box. 

Getting closer she notices, its filled

with information and notices from

the hospital. ]

[ Reading through Ace’s papers, Karie

has to sit down.  As she fights tears,

he comes through the door unaware. ]

ACE: Babe, what are you doing?

[ Karie stands up & Ace walks to her

but she backs away. ]

KARIE: How long have you been 

lying to me?

[She states, sifting through pages.]

 This is serious, Ace.

ACE: I’m sorry.  I just don’t want

anyone treating me like. 

I’m dying.

[ He sits down on the couch,

Karie stays standing. ]

SCENE 6:

[ After Jenni leaves, Hahn is passing

the front break room and hears Syria

and another male voice talking

back and forth.

With no one around, he leans toward

the door.  Listening. ]

DYMINIC: So, you have a good day dear?

SYRIA: Yeah, it’s fine.  I’m surprised

you came here on my break.

DYMINIC: About that.  I arranged you a

ride tonight.  I’m going out with my

boss. 

SYRIA: Again.  You would think you have

kissed his cufflinks enough.

DYMNIC: Yeah, not quite.  He’s relentless.

You done with the cell.  I gotta take off soon.

[ Suddenly the phone gets a text from an

unsaved number. ]

“Can’t wait for tomorrow night!.”

SYRIA: Okay slick.  Who is this?

[ She raises her voice and slides the phone

 to him ]

DYMINIC: Just my boss, Sear.

Relax.

[ Hahn bust through the door. ]

HAHN: Everything alright in here?

[ He lets out a big, uncomfortable

smile. ]

" Magic Moves "

SCENE 1: Parking lot, near MSCC.

[ Stuu shuts his car door & starts

walking, seeing Leevigh waiting

for him on the porch. ]

“Out of all the brothers, we would

get stuck doing this ridiculous

promotional video together.”

LEEVIGH: I know, so let’s just

get it over with. 

[ Leevigh opens the frat house

door & Stuu follows him inside. ]

STUU: So…how are your roomates

doing?

[ He walks, waiting for a response. ]

LEEVIGH: Weis is never home.

Joh’s been pretty busy too lately.

STUU: Yeah, I heard.  He hasn’t been

the same since that near sexual

experience. 

LEEVIGH: Hey!  Joh getting his hump

on is a really big step for him. 

[ He tries to hold his face but

can’t help but start laughing. ]

STUU: Anyway, wasn’t a third party

suppose to be involved here?

LEEVIGH: Yes, hopefully it’s a chick

chick.  I’ve spent enough time near

and around sacks. 

SCENE 2: Afternoon, at TA Salon.

[ Karie finishes with a client &

walks back to Ace’s office. ]

ACE: Hey babe, what’s going on?

[ He stretches out in his chair,

smiling at Karie.  Suddenly he

looses grip of the desk, falling

down with the chair. 

KARIE: Are you okay?

[ Ace gets up quickly. ]

ACE: I’m fine.  Good thing Hithe

insisted on the rug in here.

Where is he by the way?

KARIE: Oh his lunch break.

ACE: That’s works perfectly.

Why don’t you come over

here and make yourself more

comfortable? Maybe, straddle

my desk calendar a little.

[ He looks, waiting… ]

KARIE:  Very funny.

There’s people waiting.

[ Ace ‘boos’ Karie on her way out

the door & she turns around

flipping him off jokingly. ]

SCENE 3: Meanwhile, at the Frat house.

“I’m Tiesun.  So, which one

of you boys will be playing

my opposite?”

LEEVIGH: He is.  Could I hate you

anymore?

[ He smirks, walking past Stuu &

gets comfortable behind the

video camera. ]

[ Tiesun looks Stuu up & down

before speaking. ]

TIESUN: I hope you’re a fast

learner.  Can you even dance?

[ Stuu makes his best attempt,

stepping back & forth while

moving his hands wildly in

the air. ]

TIESUN: No!  This isn’t some

copy-cat, free-for-all, bullshit.

Your brothers are looking

for an epic amount of views

from this.

And I intend on getting

them with or without you.

[ She eyes Stuu hard, then

walks away. ]

SCENE 4: Up front, TA Salon. 

[ Ace returns from lunch & runs

into one of the new stylist.  ]

“Hey, it’s Sascha.  Right?”

ACE: Sorry, I’m still learning

everyone’s name.

SASCHA: You’re fine.

ACE: Nice to meet you.  If

you ever need anything, just

ask me or Hithe.

My door is always open.

SASCHA: Thank you.

[ Ace heads for his office while

Sascha goes toward the break

room. ]

[ Hearing a harsh male voice

Inside, she stops & listens. ]

“What do you mean their

stopping the money?

I didn’t make it up. They were

negligent with my son.  He

would’ve lived.

Okay, I’ll be there. We have

to fix this.“

[ Suddenly the door opens &

Hithe appears, faintly smiling

at Sascha he walks away. ]

SCENE 5: Back at the Frat house.

[ Tiesun is walking Stuu through

the dance movies, Leevigh is

watching. ]

TIESUN: Finally!  See I told ya

I can teach anyone.

Since we’re dancing together,

It would look better if you

were…shirtless.

[ She gets closer to him. ]

STUU: Tempting but I’m

not trying to send out

that type of a message. 

TIESUN: What type?

[ He backs up a little. ]

STUU: A sexual one.

TIESUN: Relax, alright.

It’s not like that.

[ Stuu tries to speak but Tiesun already has

her finger up to his lips.  Soon he is lifting

up his arms, & letting her remove his shirt. ] 

[ An hour later, everyone is gone except

for Leevigh who is putting up equipment. ]

“Great idea.  This should get Stuu tossed

out for sure.”

SCENE 6: In Ace’s office.

[ Hithe enters. ]

HITHE: I’m gonna head out.

See ya tomorrow?

[ Ace stands up so there face

to face. ]

ACE: I’m gonna ask you one

time. And this is the last time

Hithe.

Where the hell did you get

the money to furnish the

Salon?

HITHE: Alright, alright.

It came from a settlement.

ACE: Settled from what?

HITHE: The hospital was

paying me for their part

in my son’s death. 

But their refusing to now.

ACE: So that makes this

okay? You fabricated a

story out of anger and I

trusted you.

HITHE: I’m sorry I didn’t

tell you, but…

ACE: But nothing I

don't even know what
to say to you right now. 

Just go.

HITHE: Ace, let me explain

ACE: We're done here.
