Eyes On You: Part Two

SCENE ONE:
TA, late the next afternoon.

[ Syria is finishing up her lunch
in the break room when Sandie
walks in. ]

SYRIA: Hey.  How's the day?

SANDIE: Coffee is my friend.
I have 30 minutes to sit down
before I teach an hour decorating
class.

[ She joins Syria at the table. ]

SYRIA: Ever since the bakery 
expanded it seems like they
have you doing a lot.  You sure
you are okay with it all?
SANDIE:  Yes I'm fine.  I figure
the more I can take on, the
faster I get the entrance &
the green light on whatever
else I need.  
SYRIA: That does makes sense.
And what about Broderick?

[ Sandie stops chewing on her
pretzel and looks right in
Syria's direction. ]

SANDIE: What about him?
SYRIA: I don't mean to but in
but you know what it looks like
to everyone who was there.  

[ Sandie's expression longs for
clarification. ]

SYRIA: Just be careful is all
I'll say.  Well I need to get
back on.  See ya soon.

[ She walks out & returns to
the self checkout counter.  Looking
toward the door, Syria slightly shivers
as an unsuspected person starts
walking quickly toward her. ]


SCENE TWO:
At Mark & Ski's, light is bouncing
through the living room windows.

[ Larrie rolls over, yawns, & stretches
his arms out.  Now noticing his sister is
beside him on the couch, watching TV. ]

LARRIE: How did you know I needed
a ride?

RIAH: Ski called me from your phone.

So how out of control did you get
last night, do I even wanna know?
LARRIE: Alright I admit.  I had a bit
too much.  Shouldn't have started
at the park, I guess.
RIAH: You drink every other weekend.
Never get sick though.  What else
have you been putting in your mouth?

[ Larrie takes a gulp of his water &
immediatly spits it out through his
growing laughter. ]

RIAH: I'm serious.

[ Jai comes down the steps & stops.
Staring at Riah until she notices
he's in her view. ]

JAI: Hey.  Morning sloppy do.

LARRIE: Funny.  This is my sister
Riah.  This is Jai.
RIAH: Hi.

[ Jai silently smiles at her,
not finding the words. ]


SCENE THREE:
TA, near self checkouts.

[ Syria keeps her distance as
Broderick approaches. ]

SYRIA: Can I ask what you're
doing here?  It couldn't be
that you were in the neigh-
borhood.

BRODERICK: Actually no.  I work
an early schedule and Sandie
said I could drop by any time.

Could you direct me to where
the bakery is?

[ Syria hesitantly points out the
way keeping her eye on him
as he leaves. 

Back at the bakery, Sandie is
shocked to see Broderick. ]

SANDIE: I didn't think you
would be so eager.  I mean this
is my first class.
BRODERICK: That's okay.  I'll just
stand in the back.  You'll hardly
even notice me.

[ Sandie gathers up her supplies
as Broderick comes over.  Taking
a fair amount, he pushes his help
onto her. ]

SANDIE: Thanks. 
BRODERICK: Don't mention it.

[ They continue on side by side. ]

[ Larrie is getting his hair cut by
Karie while talking with Ace. ]

LARRIE:  I told you.  I'm not just
showing off.  It does taste good
to me.

ACE: We all know you can be creepy
but this is just bizarre. Paper, really?
LARRIE: Thanks.  I asked you for
some real advice and this is,
all you come up with.

Sometimes it feels more like
a craving.
ACE: I've never heard of this.

KARIE: Instead of playing the
guessing game.  Why don't
you just go to the doctor?
LARRIE: I'm not sick.  That's why.

ACE: Whatever this is.  It's not
normal.  You don't want to
ignore it.  I know from experience.

LARRIE: Alright I get what you're
saying.  

[ Karie finshes wiping Larrie off
& removes the apron from around
him. ]

LARRIE: Now can I please get my
hair washed in peace.  

[ Larrie stands up heading to the back. ]

SCENE FIVE:

TA, in the bakery area.

[ Broderick and three other females

are waiting behind a table.  Sandie

comes up from the back and sits

a three layered, circular plain

cake in front of them. ]

BRODERICK: Nice.  Can't wait to

see the ending result.

[ Sandie quickly looks up. ]

SANDIE: No talking please.

Today I'm going to show 

you the different tools you

can use to assist in decoration.

You will each have a chance

to try them as well.

[ Meanwhile upstairs, Hahn &

Charles are eating in Mark's

office. ]

CHARLES: How often do you

come up here?

HAHN: Just every other hour

when Mark's not here.  To

check the cameras.

[ He sits down at the desk &

Charles stands over him. ]

CHARLES: Wait, who is that

guy in the bakery area?

[ Hahn zooms in for a closer

look. ]

HAHN: Someone moves fast.

CHARLES: I can't believe this.

SCENE SIX:

Outside a local clinic.

[ Larrie walks outside to see Jeszyca

& Sunshine pull up.  He sits in the

back. ]

JESZYCA: What did you find out?

LARRIE: They need to run more test

but the doctor said he's pretty

positive about the cravings.

JESZYCA: He did, why are you

having them then?

LARRIE: It has to do with low levels

of iron or nutrients in your body.

A lot of information, I'm sorry.

I could have a disorder called

pica or something like that.

SUNSHINE: What can you do?

LARRIE: Right now he told me

to adjust my diet.  I have another

appointment next week.  It doesn't

sound that serious really.

JESZYCA: It probably could be.

SUNSHINE: You need to take

care of yourself. 

LARRIE: Don't worry. I'm taking

this very seriously girls.  

SCENE SEVEN:

Back inside The Aisles.

[ A couple hours later, Charles

spots Broderick walking around

in the freezer section.

As he shuts a door, Charles is

standing right in front of him. ]

BRODERICK: You scared the crap

out of me.  What's up?

CHARLES: What's up is you seem to

have some sick curiosity toward

my fiance.

BRODERICK: It's not like that.

CHARLES: Well she's busy and

doesn't need you showing up

here all the time.

[ Broderick backs up. ]

BRODERICK: I get it.  Alright.

CHARLES: No. I don't think you

do.

[ Meanwhile up front, Syria is

helping an older woman use

the self check when she hears

some commotion. 

Reaching the freezer section,

she sees Charles standing

in front of a frozen door with

a construction sign on it

& Broderick trapped on

the inside. ]

SYRIA: Let him out now!

[ Charles moves, Broderick

comes out hurrying toward

the exit.  Syria is at a loss

for words. ]

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A

Truth & Honor ( Part Two )

SCENE 1:
Connor Middle School.

[ Ski pulls into the parking lot
& Billy gets out of the car. ]

"I'll be right back."

[ Getting near the building he
sees Little H. sitting on a bench
& he joins him.  Looking around
the area. ]

BILLY: Any sign of that jerk?

LITTLE H: Not today.  I'm not sur-
prised he didn't show though.
Caleb's a coward.  I only care
because of Mairya.
BILLY: Yeah I know.  So you two
fought for awhile and then he
ran, that's it?

[ Little H. shakes his head. ]

LITTLE H: I didn't want to hit
Caleb.  But he kept egging
me on.  Chasing me around
the room even. So when he
reached up to punch me I 
grabbed his fist and held it.

[ He pauses, leaving Billy
in suspense. ]

BILLY: I bet that made it
worse.  Must have been
pissed by then. 
LITTLE H: Yup then I fell but
I can't remember much after
that.  I've been wrecking
my brain trying to figure
it out all night.
BILLY: Did you hit your head?
LITTLE H: No.  We better not
leave Ski waiting anymore,
let's go.   


SCENE 2:
Larrie & Jeszyca's apartment.

[ Larrie, Tiesun, Jeszyca, and
Airynn are talking in the 
living room. ]

"Where are we headed?"

[ Airynn looks at Larrie. ]

AIRYNN:  I thought you and me
were doing this.
TIESUN: In case things get out
of hand.  We might need him.

AIRYNN: Fine.  There are a few
places the PC like to hold
gatherings around town.  We
can check those first.

LARRIE: Cool with me.  How
about I drive? 

[ He hands Tiesun the keys. ]

LARRIE: I'll be down in a few
minutes.

[ Tiesun & Airynn leave. ]

LARRIE: Wasn't Sunshine suppose
to be here?
JESZYCA: Yeah, over an hour ago.


SCENE 3:
Outside of Mark & Ski's.

[ Billy & Chais are throwing a
football while Little H sits on
the side. ]

"Do I need to go back to
Connor and beat some little
kid's ass for you?"

LITTLE H: Nope.  I'm good.

[ They continue to play and talk,
not paying attention to Little H
who has drifted off into thought.

As things turn black, H can see
himself being pursued in the
abandoned building. ]

"Don't try to move."

"Wait! . . . . . ."

[ H wakes up in a freight as
Billy is shaking him.  Chais is
leaning over. ]

CHAIS:  Are you okay man?
LITTLE H: I just need some water.

[ He goes inside the house while
Chais stands, shaking his head
at Billy. ]

CHAIS: Still think it's just a fight?


SCENE 4:
Outskirts of Magic Springs.

[ After parking; Larrie, Tiesun, &
Airynn start walking down an
alley way. ]

TIESUN: I would ask if this is safe
but I probably don't wanna know
the answer.
LARRIE: This is the fourth place
we've been to.  It's pretty clear
that these people don't want
to be found.

AIRYNN: I don't care.  And any
other humane person wouldn't
either.  

[ He stops, staring at Larrie before
walking on. ]

LARRIE: Maybe you should consider
getting your friend up there some
help.  He get's a little psycho.

[ Larrie makes a face as Tiesun
rolls her eyes walking on. ]

"Guys!  Over here."

[ They both start to run toward
the sound of Airynn's voice as
a roaring bond type fire is seen
growing in the distance. ]


SCENE 5:
Highway, middle of nowhere.

[ Sunshine steps out of the car.
Going over to the passenger
side, she looks over at her
past bosses' condition.

Now pathetically slumped
over her seat. ]

"I can't do this."

[ She sighs shaking Gerard to
get him to come to.  After a
little time passes, she starts
to gets anxious.

Her thrust on him get harder as
he's finally stirred awake. ]

SUNSHINE: Good.

GERARD: Where have you taken
me?

[ He starts to get up, feeling his
head. ]

SUNSHINE: I still have the recording.

You know I wanted to dump
your heartless soul into the
river tonight.  That was my
plan.  

Now get out.  Out of my car
and out of my life.

[ He exits & she drives away. ]


SCENE 6:
Later at Hithe's.

[ Little H walks into the living
room & sees Hithe playing a
video game on the couch. ]

"You wanna play me?"

LITTLE H: I need to tell you some-
thing about that kid at school.

[ Hithe shuts the TV off, staying
silent. ]

LITTLE H: I'll admit I started the
fight and he couldn't control
me but then it all changed.
HITHE: What happened son?

LITTLE H: I think I blacked
out or something but I
been getting my memory
back a little.  I'm pretty sure
he took advantage of me.
HITHE: Wait, in what way?

LITTLE H: Like sex Dad but I
don't want you to do anything.
I'm fine.  I swear.

[ Little H stands before Hithe
can react. ]

HITHE: This is serious.  I don't
think you realize how much.
We have to get you checked.
LITTLE H:  I did at the school
already.  No one will believe
me.  They'll just hate me.

Especially Mairya.  Please Dad.


SCENE 7:
Back in the woods. 

[ Airynn, Tiesun, & Larrie are
hiding behind a bush in view
of the fire. ]

LARRIE: This is amazing!

[ Larrie states in excitement as
Airynn gives him a look.  Suddenly
the members of the P.C are 
gathering around encircling the
peaking flames.

They stop for a second & begin a
monotone chant as a person in
a white cloth appears in the
middle. ]

AIRYNN: Oh no.  That's him.

[ A female starts to douse
his body with a clear liquid as
it soaks the sheet.

Larrie grabs ahold of Airynn
before he can move. ]

AIRYNN: Let me go.

[ Airynn breaks free just as the
woman prepares to light the
victim ]

TIESUN: Airynn no.

[ Airynn runs toward Brian, knock-
ing him over just in time. Larrie
& Tiesun run over to them. ]

AIRYNN: Now do you believe me.

[ He states sarcastially, catching
his breath. ]

Change To Bare Part 2

SCENE 1:
The Next Morning.

[ Dyminic is drinking coffee
in the hotel lobby when Amber
sits down across from him. ]

DYMINIC: Well geez, I didn't
think you were ever joining 
me.
AMBER: Yeah sorry about the
beach thing.  I wasn't trying
to ruin our first day.

[ Dyminic looks into her eyes. ]

DYMINIC: No worries. 
AMBER: If you want to go back
we can.
DYMINIC: It's fine.  I found other
areas for us to explore.
AMBER:  I'm intrigued.
DYMINIC: Great.  Keep that up.

[ He cracks a crooked smile. ]

DYMINIC: I wanna take you by
some places I went to as a kid.
Starting with the downtown
water park.
AMBER; With rides?
DYMINIC: No, no.  You'll see.

[ Suddenly a woman walks up,
stopping at their table. ]

"Dyminic, is that you?"


SCENE 2:
At Mark's house.

[ Mark is sitting at the kitchen
table when Ski walks in. ]

"Morning, want me to make
you something to eat?"

MARK: You're fine.  I just had
some cereal.  Sit down, I
wanna ask you something.

[ Ski joins him at the table. ]

MARK: I found out something
pretty disturbing about Jim
at the launch and I'm not sure
what to do about it.
SKI: Really, what does it involve?

MARK: Him and the female manager.
SKI: Wow.  Say no more.

MARK: Yeah.  Ace thinks I should
mind my own business.
SKI: I agree.  You don't want to
piss him off.  Not worth your job. 
MARK: That's true.  I just thought
he would have let me of all
people know.
SKI: Shouldn't you be leaving
for the meeting?

[ Mark looks down at his phone. ]

MARK: Damn, gotta go.

[ He kisses Ski & hurries out 
of the room. ]


SCENE 3:
Afternoon, on the road.

[ Lorenzo is driving while Made-
line sits besides him. ]

LORENZO: You doing okay?

MADELINE: I'm fine.  Just want
to get this over as soon as
possible.
LORENZO: I get it and I see
why Sunshine didn't want
to cooperate.  
MADELINE: We can't have
them finding out we're not
suppose to be here.
LORENZO: They won't.  I'm
not going to lose you now.  

[ Madeline hides her smile as
 they arrive at the police station.

Later on, inside. . . . . . ]

"We need you to tell us everything
about Gerard Lighvett."

MADELINE: Okay.  We met about
two years ago.  I was looking for
work and he had suggestions.

"Like what?"

[ Many minutes later, Madeline
is still being examined. ]

"One last question.  Are there
any other girls besides you
and your friend invovled?

MADELINE: Yes but I don't know
where.  We we're separated on
arrival.  


SCENE 4:
Back in the Breakfast Area.

"This is my girlfriend, Amber."

ROSHELLE: Nice to meet you.
Well I have friends waiting
for me at the spa.  Just wanted 
to say hello to Dime.

[ She smiles at Dyminic, faintly
waves & saunters off in her
heels. ]

AMBER:  You have bitches coming
out of the wood work.

[ She starts to laugh at him. ]

DYMINIC: It's erie.  If you haven't guessed
already, that was a girl I was with
back in high school.  Didn't last
long though.  
AMBER: I see.  We all have a past.
Hell I've dated a variety of people
and genders as you know.
DYMINIC:  Right.  Like that saucy
receptionst from the Salon.  What
was her name again?

AMBER: Jeszyca.  
DYMINIC: Yeah.  Total character.  

[ Amber looks up at him. ]

DYMINIC: In a good way.  I swear.  
Ready to go?


SCENE 5:
Downtown, Magic Springs.

[ Mark enters the conference room
& takes Jim off to the side. ]

MARK: I need to talk to you.
I wasn't trying to ease drop but
I heard the way you were talking
to the Mirror manager.

[ Jim is looking toward the exe-
cutives in the room, keeping
silent. ]

MARK: Did you hear me?
JIM: Yes, I'm listening.  What's
your point?
MARK: My point is that's not
exactly the way things are
ran here.  It's in our TA code.

JIM: Oh please.  Those rules
are about as dated as I am.
MARK: That's fine, I'm just being
real with you.  Our relationship
is suppose to be based off trust
and you didn't say anything. 

[ Jim backs off a little. ]

JIM: I don't have to share my
personal life with my 
subordinates. When you had
to fire that cashier last year
because she got a bit to close.  I
never questioned you.  
MARK: I appreciate that but I
thought we were also friends.

JIM: Listen, just keep your mouth
shut when it comes to Andrea.
Or else Mark.  

[ He walks off in a rush. ]


SCENE 6:
Outside, MC Waterpark.

[ Amber & Dyminic are walking
through a tunnel of glass with 
various sea life swimming around
them. ]

AMBER: This place is so beautiful

I don't know where to look.

[ She twirls around while Dyminic
stands watching her. Getting out
his camera, he takes a pic of
Amber. ]

AMBER: How do I look?
DYMINIC: Magical. Hey, I'll be
right back.  Wait here, okay?

[ He runs off, leaving Amber
alone in the room.

After a little time has passed,
Amber is anxiously standing
with her back turned to the
wall when she hears loud knocks
on the glass. ]


[ Turning around, she is shocked
to see Dyminic swimming around
in the tank.  He holds out a sign
and she reads it outloud. ]

"Will.   You.  


. . . . . .Marry Me?"

Only Strangers ( Part 2 )

Early, the next afternoon.

[ Tessa arrives at work.  Stepping

up to her bosses door, she hears

her talking & stops. ]

MANAGER: I expected to have more

interest in this assistant position but

only one supervisor has come forth.

[ She puts down her interview list. ]

MONROE: That's strange.  I haven't

seen an announcement or anything.

MANAGER: I'm pretty sure I gave

it to Tessa yesterday to hang.

MONROE: Oh yeah?

[ Monroe starts to smirk while

the boss is turned away. ]

MONROE: What if someone took

it down?

MANAGER: Whoever did that would

be fired.

[ Tessa hears, then goes back to

her desk.  LeeVigh comes over. ]

LEEVIGH: Something wrong? I saw

you standing at the office.

TESSA: I was a little too eager when

I heard about the promotion.

LEEVIGH:  Yeah.  What are you telling

me?

TESSA: There was a sign up sheet

and I didn't put it up.  I was keeping

 it from Monroe.

They were just talking in

the office.  What if she

figures out it was me?

LEEVIGH: You don't think

you'll get fired?

At Pierre & Sascha's.

[ Pierre, Sunshine, & Madeline

are sitting at the kitchen table. ]

SUNSHINE: Thanks for letting us

stay here while Lorenzo is at work.

MADELINE: Yeah. Your girlfriend is

very understanding.

PIERRE: That she is.  If you wouldn't

mind though.  I believe I deserve

more of an explanation now.

SUNSHINE: Alright.  We came here

on a private plane.  To do work

for our bosses company.

PIERRE: That guy that was follow-

ing us.  What type of work?

MADELINE: Manual labor.  

PIERRE: And no one knows 

you're here?

[ They go silent for a minute. ]

SUNSHINE: We we're taken.

[ Madeline starts to cry & Pierre

puts his hand on her's.  His

phone rings & he goes in the

other room. ]

LORENZO: How's it going?

PIERRE: I know I wasn't exactly

pleased when you dropped them

off but I think we might be saving

them.

That night, the Aisles.

[ The nights team are waiting

for their shift to start when

someone familiar is shown

on the TV. ]

JOH: Am I insane or was that

just Airynn on screen?

[ Everyone starts to watch &

Ski walks up closer, cranking

the volume. ]

"What started out as a friendly

demonstration, soon turned

chaotic downtown Mirror

when two men were caught

protesting in the street."

SKI: I can't believe this.

TIESUN: What's gotten into

him?

REPORTER: Why are you

here?

AIRYNN: To prepare our

followers for what's to

come. 

[ Joh burst out in laughter. ]

STUU: It's not funny.

These people have actually

gotten him to beieve this

crap.

LARRIE: Then he's dumber 

than we thought.  

[ Everyone leaves except Stuu

& Ski. ]

STUU: We need to do something.

Airynn obviously needs help.

SKI: I agree.  His brother said

his parents are just treating

this as one of his stunts.

STUU: So it's up to all of us

then?

SKI: If he wont answer our

calls, what else can we really

do?

[ Ski exits the room, leaving

Stuu standing there. ]

Earlier, at Dial Complete.

[ Tessa is nervously cleaning
around her desk area when
Monroe sneaks up beside her. ]

"Hey."

TESSA: I'm a little busy, sorry.

MONROE: I'm aware of what
you did yesterday.
TESSA: What was that?

MONROE: Got rid of the flyer.
Don't worry though.  I convinced
the boss to keep looking.
TESSA: That's good.
MONROE: Yes and now you can
do me a favor.

TESSA: Okay, I'm listening.
MONROE: It's simple really.  Drop
out of the running for the position
and my lips are sealed.
TESSA: Who says she'll believe you?

MONROE: I was here right after the
company started.  She believes
anything I say.
You could take your chances
but I doubt it will come out
in your favor.

[ She walks away. ]

Back at Pierre's.

PIERRE: Lorenzo will be back in

 a few hours.  He's gonna see

what he can do about helping

you out so just relax.

Okay?

[ He smiles at them. ]

PIERRE: Now.  Anyone like movies?

[ Suddenly, there's a loud knock

on the outside door. Startled,

Pierre jumps up & looks out

the window. ]

PIERRE: Weird.  I don't know anyone

who drives a van.

VOICE: Open up!  I know you have

them.

PIERRE: How did he possibly know

where I live?

[ The girls get close together &

Pierre notices the phone on the

table. ]

PIERRE: He must be tracking you.

[ He throws the phone on the

ground & it shatters as the 

knocking gets more intense.

Reaching in his pocket, he goes

to dial the cops. ]

SUNSHINE: Hurry.  He's breaking

in.  

Back at Dial Complete.

[ Tessa is sitting in the break

room when LeeVigh enters. ]

LEEVIGH: Shouldn't you be getting

ready for your interview?

TESSA: No because I cancelled it.

LEEVIGH: Why?

TESSA: Because Monroe knows

the truth and she threatened

to out me.  Besides the job

was meant for her anyway.  

LEEVIGH: Oh well. There will be

other opportunities.

TESSA: Maybe.  

[ She looks down. ]

LEEVIGH: I know it.  And at least

you still have your job. And me.

[ Tessa laughs. ]

TESSA: You're the best part.  

This whole situation has got

me thinking a lot.

LEEVIGH: About what?

TESSA: I can't stay somewhere

where I have no chance to 

advance so I started looking

for something else.

LEEVIGH: If that's what you

want.  I'll stand beside you.

Outside Pierre's.

[ The police are leaving with the

stranger while Pierre meets Lorenzo

outside. ]

LORENZO: What happened, are you

alright?

PIERRE: Yes, everyone is fine.

That guy was tracking them

on their phone.

LORENZO: I can't believe it.

PIERRE: I know.  Good thing the

police believed our story or

else they could have been

taken away.

LORENZO: Thanks man.

PIERRE: No problem.  

LORENZO: See.  We make a

great team.

[ The girls come outside. ]

LORENZO: Ready to go home?

SUNSHINE: Yes.  See you Pierre.

MADELINE: Thanks a lot.

PIERRE: Have fun.  And try not

to get into anymore trouble.

[ They get into the car & leave. ]

Caged In Part 1 &2

SCENE 1:

Employee back lot, TA.

[ Tiesun & Stuu are sitting

at the table outside. ]

TIESUN: I thought you were

cool with Larrie.  What’s the

deal?

STUU: Oh, I am.  Just didn’t

see him as your type.  As

long as things don’t change

between us though. I’m good.

TIESUN: It won’t.  He has his

friend time and I have mine.

Us dating won’t make things

different.

STUU: If you stay so.

TIESUN: I do. So stop

worrying about it.

[ She smiles at Stuu. ]

STUU: I wasn’t. He has been

texting you a lot tonight.

TIESUN: That’s pretty normal.

I like that he’s attentive.

STUU: Maybe it is.  I wouldn’t

really know.

[ They stop talking and Stuu

looks down.  Suddenly a car

pulls into the lot & parks. ]

STUU: Isn’t that.

[ They see Larrie get out &

start walking towards them. ]

SCENE 2:

Next day at TA Salon.

 [ Sascha is sitting down

with Karie & Lorenzo

standing by her station. ]

KARIE: So how are things

with Pierre?  I feel like

you hardly had any time

for me this summer.

[ She sticks her lip out

& they laugh. ]

SASCHA: They’re good.  He’s

leaving tonight though.

[ Sascha looks down &

Lorenzo puts his arm

around her. ]

LORENZO: So sorry to hear

that.  But I’m here.

[ She shakes him off her. ]

LORENZO: What? It was a joke.

KARIE: Anyway.  If only he

could find a job here.  Things

Meanwhile, outside TA.

[ Dyminic pulls up to the

building & Amber gets out,

waving to him.

She sees Monica giving her

a look. ]

AMBER: What? I’m having

car problems. 

MONICA: Sure that’s all you’re

having?

AMBER: Very sure. Me and

Dyminic are just friends.

MONICA: Well the way he looks

at you says different.  Just

saying.

AMBER: I haven’t noticed.

[ Kyle pulls in by the curb &

waves to them. ]

AMBER: Where are you guys

off to?

MONICA: Picking up Kii from

practice.

AMBER: Oh alright.  Just remember

…..strictly platonic. Read my lips.

[ Monica rolls down the window

before they drive off. ]

MONICA: Okay, Mrs. Jones.

SCENE 4:

TA, the night before.

[ Larrie sits down across

from Stuu & Tiesun. ]

“I got munchies from

the diner.”

STUU: Eh, no thanks.  I’ll

alert the highons though. 

[ He goes inside to find

Joh & Weis. ]

LARRIE: Kid doesn’t like me,

does he?

TIESUN: He’s just threatened,

I guess.  But he’ll get over it.

Mmm, I hope there’s a chicken

salad in there.

[ Larrie rummages through

the bag. ]

LARRIE: Oh look.  It’s hidden

under all the fried food.

[ She smiles & they kiss. ]

TIESUN: Where are the boys?

LARRIE: Probably in there

talking about me.  Man, I

was like a different person

when I first started here.

TIESUN: Really, in what way?

SCENE 5:

Later on, the following day.

[ Sascha is sitting in her living

room trying to distract herself

when she notices Pierre is

standing in the hallway. ]

SASCHA: Hey, how long have

you been there?

[ He comes over & sits next

to her. ]

PIERRE: Not long.  You alright

babe?

Here lay back.

[ Pierre sits straight with Sascha

laying across him. ]

SASCHA: Shouldn’t we be headed

to the airport?

PIERRE: No need because I’ve

got news.

SASCHA: What’s going on?

[ She sits up, waiting. ]

PIERRE: I found a job here

and I decided to stay.

SASCHA: Are you serious?

PIERRE: Of course.

[ She jumps into his arms, not

noticing Pierre’s expression. ]

SCENE 6:

TA, Night before.

[ Tiesun & Larrie are talking

when Stuu, Joh, & Weis

join them at the table. ]

STUU: We we’re having an

interesting convo inside. 

Thought I’d share.

LARRIE: Oh yeah?

JOH: Dude, don’t.

[ Joh & Weis leave for

the other bench. ]

STUU: Yeah about pills and

people who take too many

of them.

LARRIE: Thanks guys.

That was awhile ago.

TIESUN: What was?

LARRIE: My overdose.

I haven’t touched any

of that stuff in years

though. What’s your point?

[ Stuu stays silent. ]

LARRIE: Don’t get quiet now.

We could talk about

the fact that you’re too

scared to have sex.

[ Joh & Weis pay attention

as Stuu sits up from the

table.  Without thinking he

grabs the collar of Larrie’s

shirt & pulls him up. ]

STUU: I’m not scared of

anything.

SCENE 1:

Morning at Sascha’s.

[ Her & Pierre are having

breakfast. ]

SASCHA: So what’s your

schedule like today?

PIERRE: I have a meeting

with my boss in a couple

hours.

SASCHA: Cool.  I can’t believe

he wants you to manage

a new project here.

PIERRE: I know.  I’m really

excited.

SASCHA: Well, I’ll be home

around nine tonight and

we can celebrate.

PIERRE: Sounds nice.

[ He looks away as Sascha

continues to eat. ]

SASCHA: Something wrong?

PIERRE: Nope.  Gotta make a call

though.  I’ll be right back.

SCENE 2:

That same night, TA.

TIESUN: Stuu, let go of him.

LARRIE: What is your problem?

I wasn’t saying it in a mean

way.  I was just curious.

STUU: Yeah, well it’s none of

your business.

LARRIE: That’s fine.

[ He backs up & Stuu goes inside. ]

LARRIE: I thought I had problems.

[ Tiesun gives him a look. ]

TIESUN: Sorry.  He likes to keep

stuff like that private.  I don’t

know why he closes off. 

LARRIE: It’s cool.  I use to be

that way too.

TIESUN: I just wish you two

could get along.

[ The outside door opens &

Ski comes out. ]

SKI: Stuu looks pissed.  I’m

guessing you have something

to do with it.

LARRIE: Yup.  Don’t I always

say the wrong thing?

TIESUN: Not always.

SCENE 3:

At the Telazon’s house.

[ Airynn walks into his brother’s

room & sits by him on the bed. ]

BILLY: Hey, where’s Scarlet?

AIRYNN: She left. 

BILLY: Well let me know

when she’s back so we

can finish our game.

AIRYNN: Dude, she’s gone.

BILLY: What?

AIRYNN: She made up with

her mom and she’s moving

states away.

BILLY: Oh.  Sorry.

AIRYNN: Yeah me too.

How come your home

anyway and not at Mark’s?

BILLY: Because Chais spends

all his free time with Jenni

on video chat.

AIRYNN: She coming back?

BILLY: I don’t know since

school started now.

[ Airynn gets out of bed. ]

AIRYNN: Well get dressed.

Let’s go get something

to eat.

SCENE 4:

Outside the Salon.

[ Sascha arrives & sees

Hithe smoking outside. ]

SASCHA: Morning.

[ She smiles at Hithe. ]

HITHE: You’re in a better

mood than I expected.

SASCHA: Pierre found a job

here.

HITHE: Really?  That’s awesome.

SASCHA: I know.  No more struggles

over the long distance thing.

HITHE: Must be a huge relief.  So

what is he going to do?

SASCHA: Not sure of the specifics.

But the contracting company wants

him to head some project in town.

HITHE: He’s been here all summer,

and they just now want

him to do this?

SASCHA: Yeah, what are you saying?

HITHE: It just seems a little weird

to me.  Maybe you should clarify.

SASCHA: Thanks, I will.

SCENE 5:

[ Larrie finds Stuu sitting in

the break room. ]

LARRIE: Hey, can we talk?

[ He sits down & Stuu stays

silent for awhile. ]

STUU: Before you say anything,

I’m sorry I came at you like

that.

LARRIE: Thanks.  And I didn’t

mean to pry into your life.

[ Tiesun enters the room &

sits across from them. ]

TIESUN: Everyone cool?

LARRIE: As a cucumber.

[ He starts to laugh as

Stuu rolls his eyes. ]

LARRIE: I’m sure we’ll be

besties in no time.

STUU: Yeah we’ll see.

LARRIE: Well I better

get out of here.

You two have a good

night.

[ He leans over & kisses

Tiesun before exiting. ]

SCENE 6:

At Sascha’s.

[ She’s on the phone with

Pierre. ]

SASCHA: I was talking to my

coworker earlier and he got

me thinking.

There is no job right now,

is there? 

PIERRE: Not exactly.

SASCHA: So you lied to me?

PIERRE: I just didn’t wanna

leave you so I quit.  But don’t

worry I have lots of new

leads here.

I’ll find something soon.

SASCHA: I hope so.

PIERRE: Everything will work

out babe.
